Hello tejal,

Can you please clarify what you mean by "lab profile"?

Thank you.

Dr Yechiel
By lab profile i meant what should be the basic requirements for topical formulations for psoriasis? What should be the profile that a formulator should have in mind while formulating a topical doasge form targeted at Psoriasis?
 For eg
The composition should have a penetration enhancer, solubiliser.
The compositon should not be greasy /oily on application and so on.

Thanks

Hello, tejal. Here are some suggestions about the requirements for a good topical formulation for psoriasis:

1. More than average preservation.
2. Very high spreadability.
3. Low tackiness.
4. Advanced penetration between multiple semi-detached skin layers.
5. Activation by body temperature.
6. Though not intended to be applied on bleeding skin areas, it should be non-toxic and non-irritating in case it is applied by mistake.

There are many other considerations in our Psori-Nil product, including selection of actives, but we cannot elaborate on them since they are trade secrets.
